Being served a murky beer no longer carries a negative stigma. Prejudice against unclear beer is waning, but with a myriad of craft styles and new levels of acceptable clarity we are sometimes left unsure how the brewery intended our beer to look. It seems some drinkers now solely rely on their digital peers to gauge acceptable clarity. Is appearance important, or does taste get the final say in satisfaction?

When Camden Town Brewery were given a launch pad to turbocharge their mission to make the world as passionate about Hells as they were, I began to question what it meant to be a “craft” brewery.
